White Lotus, Zendaya i Dahmer. Jak vypadalo předávání Zlatých glóbů?

Zlaté glóby se velkolepě vrátily po roční odmlce. V minulém roce probíhaly pouze v omezené verzi poté, co deník Los Angeles Times v roce 2021 zjistil, že Asociace zahraničních novinářů v Hollywoodu nemá žádné černošské členy a že došlo k četným etickým pochybením. Cenám se poté nepodařilo najít vysílacího partnera ani celebrity, které by byly ochotné je předávat nebo přebírat.

To už je ale pryč, a tak se letos předávání mohlo opět konat v plné parádě. Láhve šampaňského, nablýskané outfity, slzy dojetí i moderátor Jerrod Carmichael, který si s hollywoodskou smetánkou nebral servítky.

Největšími vítězi večera se staly snímky The Fabelmans, částečně autobiografické rodinné drama Stevena Spielberga, které mu vyneslo i cenu za nejlepší režii, a The Banshees of Inisherin Martina McDonagha, zatímco House of the Dragon a The White Lotus si odnesly hlavní televizní ceny.

Sošku si odnesla také Zendaya za druhou sezónu Euphorie, Even Peters za roli Dahmera ve stejnojmenném hitu Netflixu nebo Jeremy Allen White za The Bear. Ocenění za vedlejší roli ve The White Lotus získala Jennifer Coolidge, Austin Butler si odnesl ocenění za hlavního herce v dramatu Elvis.

Ocenění ziskali také Quinta Brunson a Tyler James Williams z Abbott Elementary. Celkovým vítězem večera se stal Ke Huy Quan, který oslavil emotivní návrat k herectví po dětské slávě v 80. letech s filmem Everything Everywhere All At Once. Angela Bassett z filmu Wakanda Forever se stala první osobností, která získala hlavní individuální hereckou cenu za film společnosti Marvel.

Během slavnostního ceremoniálu byla udělena také cena za celoživotní dílo Eddiemu Murphymu, který sdělil své rady, jak uspět v Hollywoodu. „Plaťte daně, starejte se o své záležitosti a neberte si do pusy jméno manželky Willa Smitha.“
